My Movie Poster

I really love watching suspense and horror movies that's why I decided that the concept of my first movie poster is something creepy or scary. An old clock entered into my mind, so I searched for it in google. I edited the image of the clock using Adobe Photoshop and applied a grunge brush to make it look scary. Then, I decided that "Twelve" is the title of my movie and I applied a bloody brush and used a green colored text for a creepy look. I noticed that there is something missing and I think that a clock is not enough, so I added an image of the hand of a monster. And, wallahhh... that image above is my finished project.

34th Founding Anniversary

Our school’s 34th founding anniversary was on February 28 and March 01, 2011 and we have lots of activities during those days and one thing that I’ll never forget the most is the field demonstration wherein each year level presented their awesome performance. We all practiced dancing for about a month or more just to get the title of the winner and also for the sake of our grades. We, the fourth year students, were all pressured because we all know that no one had ever defeated the seniors before and we have to do our best in order to keep the crown and victory of the seniors. The time had come that we have to present our hidden talent in dancing. It was raining heavily that day and I think the day doesn’t like us. We continued to show our performance despite of the cruel day and the muddy ground, unfortunately, we broke the good record of the seniors, we didn’t make it, we lost…uh!.. It’s hard for us to accept that the lower years triumphed against us but it’s okay, we know that we did our best and I think we must accept the reality and we should be happy for the lower years specially to the third year students.. Congratulations to the first year, second year and third year students!

JS Prom

...urgghh!! I really hate JS Prom since I was in third year because I'm a shy type person that do not really interact with other people during social occasion. In addition, I hate JS prom because I don't like wearing make-up, casual dress and high-heeled sandals. We celebrated the 5 hour JS prom last February 24, 2011 and I think it's a mess for me..."eowww".

How to Celebrate New Year's Eve the Filipino Way?

Filipinos consider New Year's Eve a time of celebration for the entire family, including children of all ages. Most Filipinos also follow a traditional belief that if the family spends at least the approach of midnight together, then it will stay together for the entire year.

How to celebrate New Year's Eve the Filipino way?

1. Awake children just before midnight.
2. If you're out make sure you return home before midnight.
3. Light firecrackers at midnight. Some families dance, sing and having fun.
4. Serve sweet and delicious foods after the countdown.
5.
On New Year's Day, roast a pig over hot coals and serve with any number of Filipino dishes such as pansit, lumpia and adobo.

My Name

This is my project using photoshop. I typed my name and decided to make it colorful. As you can see, each letter has two colors, this became possible because I used the pen tool. I decided also to use brush for the background to make it more attractive.

Reflection

Photoshop is interesting, exciting and enjoyable. You can do so many things on your picture using photoshop. I can't imagine how powerful photoshop is in terms of enhancing pictures. The above picture is my finished project named reflection. As you can see, there is a reflection of the box under its original image. I used black and gray colors for the background. First, I get an image of a box from Google and then I moved it and duplicated its layer. I flipped the copy of the original box vertically and placed it under. Then, I distorted the sides of the duplicated image and lessen its opacity. And last, I put a gradient effect so that it would really look like a real reflection.
